The Akwa Ibom State Government is delighted to announce the kick-off of the Arise MSMEs empowerment Grant to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises as part of the State Empowerment Program to support businesses within the state to grow.
Business owners of Akwa Ibom origin and whose businesses are situated in Akwa Ibom can apply for government support for their business.

Akwa Ibom State MSMEs Grants Eligibility Criteria
- Own a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprises.
- Operate a business with progressive economic potential, and desire to grow the business.
- Be willing to engage at least one additional staff member if turnover increases
- Be willing to provide proof of residential/business address in the Local Government Area
- Provide relevant personal and bank account information, including Bank Verification, (BVN) for verification of identity and National Identification Number (NIN)

If your application is successful, you will be notified immediately via SMS, email, and a voice call. A collation slip with a QR code will be generated, which you must bring with you on the scheduled collection day for identification purposes.
